Lionel Philip Randolph (Wayne Pygram)
Lionel Philip Randolph is a self-made man. Granted he got a good start with his father's wealth but smart investments and
more than a small bit of luck allowed him to parlay that small fortune into the billions he is worth today. Not all of Mr.
Randolph's wealth was acquired through the regular channels, though. Not only is he heavily involved in several large
smuggling operations, but Mr. Randolph is also something of an expert in the occult. Anytime his regular means failed him,
Randolph would often turn to magic to get the results he needed. These days his interest in the occult has become more of
an obsession. He has turned his house in the Hollywood Hills into one of the larger repositories of occult knowledge on the
west coast. Randolph's latest area of occult interest is in knowing the future and he has used his legal and illegal connections
to amass a large number of occult prophecies, both copies and originals. When Randolph learned of the girl, Jennifer Guerrin,
who was supposedly able to craft new prophecies from her dreams he attempted to get her for himself. Since her powers have
apparently vanished Randolph's interest in Jennifer appears to have as well. Though he effects an upper class British accent
and demeanor, Lionel Randolph actually comes from nouveau riche Australian stock. This lack of family standing was a particular
annoyance to Randolph. In an effort to rewrite his family's history to raise his social station Randolph crafted a magical
artifact to grant his wish to alter the past. The artifact worked, but not how he intended however. Randolph's family was
given great wealth and standing in the past, but in the present the Randolph family was ruined, having lost their fortune
in the market crash of 1927. In an instant Randolph went from alluence to being a derelict on the streets, with only vague
memories of what he once had.

Kurt and Rod (Mark Copani, Victor Webster)
At first glance, Lionel Randolph's two bodyguards appear to be typical steroid-muscled California beach boys. A closer inspection reveals that their
appearance is just a little off. Get on their wrong side, or try to mess with their boss, and Kurt and Rod will show you just how
off they are. The two are actually demons, summoned and bound to servitude by Randolph. Though forced by the summoning spell to serve
their master, the two demons don't mind. Randolph has provided them with magical glamours to give them their human appearance and
they have access to all the fringe benefits of being employees of one of the wealthier men in Los Angeles. Kurt and Rod were killed
by Patrick and Jalen, but since this occurred before Randolph altered reality it is likely that the two are still alive somewhere in another
dimension, having never been summoned by Randolph in the first place.

Jennifer Guerrin (Tina Majorino)
Jennifer Guerrin comes from a broken home. Her father abused her and her mother, and her mother did nothing about it. What makes Jennifer
different from hundreds of other teenage girls in the greater Los Angeles area is that her dreams came true, frequently. Though she did not
know it, Jennifer was the mystical Daughter of the Moirae (Fates). Unlike most psychics, Jennifer didn't just dream about things that were
to come, her dreams actually altered the future to match what she dreamed. Even the most set in stone ancient prophecies could be completely
undone by one of Jennifer's dreams. Jennifer was not really aware of her power, except when one of her dreams involved someone she knew. That
changed the day she finally tired of her father's abuse. She wished her parents would be gone, wished it harder than she ever had before, and
that night she dreamt of her father killing her mother and then himself. And the next day it happened, just as she'd dreamed it. Jennifer ran
away but word of her abilities spread through the Los Angeles occult community and several different parties, including Wolfram & Hart,
pursued her hoping to control her powerful abilities for their own ends. In the end she was tricked into crafting a prophecy that cancelled
out her own powers. This was not the end of things, however. Occult collector Lionel Philip Randolph later kidnapped Jennifer and used some
of her blood to craft an artifact that could alter reality. Jennifer was rescued by the group again and she
has now taken up residence in the East Hills Teen Shelter until she can figure out what to do with her life.

Mr. Locke (Rhys Ifans)
Mr. Locke is an enigma. He appeared recently on the Los Angeles occult scene, though he seems to have been fairly
familiar with the major player prior to making his presence known. The group first encountered Mr. Locke at the
auction when the powerful psychic girl Jennifer Guerrin was being sold off into slavery. Locke appeared at the auction
despite its secret time and location, brought a pair of trolls with him for muscle, and produced solid gold jewelry
from thin air as collateral for his bidding. And throughout the whole chaotic debacle that the auction descended into
Mr. Locke remained unscathed while watching events with mischievous glee. He later tricked the group into letting him
remove some evil magical essence that Patrick had absorbed, essence which Locke later absorbed into himself for some

and even grafted an extra pair of demon arms on himself. He also appears very difficult to kill, and may even
be undead himself. Recently he summoned a horde of zombies together to try and construct a giant creature
called a Leviathan. The attempt was thwarted and the zombies tore Maalik apart, leaving only his head which
Jalen threw into a fire. Even this did not kill Maalik, who continues to pursue
his inhuman science in Los Angeles both on his own and for a variety of employers.

he files regular reports with Wolfram & Hart on Lauren and her visions. His connection to the law

his death, Alder's body was taken through a portal by a mysterious Woman in White. The group later discovered

"Men in Black" named Hughly and Muntz. The news of Alder's murder upset Woodman,
and it appears that he will not let the death go unanswered. Woodman has since been revealed as a

Peter St. James (Paul McGann)
Peter St. James would have been a member of the Watcher's Council in England
if not for the fact that his family are deep into the Dark Arts. Peter was the proverbial white
sheep of his family and fled England to Los Angeles to avoid them. Peter met up with Patrick
shortly after the latter had been given his supernatural abilities by the Powers That Be. Along with
'Helsing' Jackson and Keri Prescott, Peter was part of Patrick's support team when he first started
battling evil. Peter preferred research to field work, but would often accompany the crew on missions
anyway. His preferred weapon was a sword but this did him little good on the group's final mission
when he was killed by the Dusk Lord named Talan.

Howard 'Helsing' Jackson (Sam Jones III)
Howard Jackson preferred going by his street name, Helsing. Howard was a gang member in Los
Angeles whose gang was wiped out by vampires. Howard survived because he’d read Dracula (not just
watched the movie with Gary Oldman) and realized what was attacking his gang. Afterwards he adopted
his new street name and began hunting vampires. It was not long before he met up with the recently
empowered Patrick and joined his crew of demon hunters. Helsing was a crack shot with a crossbow but
was killed by a pack of vampires during Patrick's first visit to the Paradise Theater.

Keri Prescott (Fairuza Balk)
Keri Prescott was a goth-girl and mid-level witch. Despite her penchant for dressing in black, Keri
was the most upbeat and optimistic member of Patrick's earlier crew, probably because it was the
first place she felt accepted for what she was. Keri relied on her magic whenever possible in an
encounter. She was naturally very powerful, just untrained, and Peter St. James was starting to train her before
the group's fatal battle at the Paradise Theater. Patrick had assumed that Keri had been killed but
in reality the Dusk Lord Talan recognized her sorcerous potential and turned her into a Dusk Lord.
She recently resurfaced in the company of Talan as his apprentice. When Talan was killed, Keri took his
body and used it to awaken an ancient being. She now serves this mysterious figure, whose ultimate goals
are unknown.

a vampire's traditional weaknesses. Dusk Lord's are not affected by holy water and can survive
decapitation (the severed head can still control the body). Talan (and presumably other Dusk Lords)
possess regeneration and telekinesis (a handy combination for reattaching severed limbs). Talan is
also a powerful warlock skilled in Dark Magicks. Talan was killed by Patrick but his body was later used to
awaken an ancient being.
