Dr. Jeremy Abrams (Vaughn Armstrong)
Jeremy Abrams is the head of the New Hope Psychiatric Institute, located just outside LA.
Dr. Abrams is also secretly in the employ of Wolfram & Hart. When W & H convinced a teenaged
Lauren Sheppard's parents to send her to therapy, they made sure she was
sent to Dr. Abrams. He was responsible for monitoring and controlling the young girl's telekinetic
abilities until she could be recruited by Wolfram & Hart. When Lauren became the host of the visions
from the Powers That Be, her parents committed her to the New Hope Institute under Dr. Abrams' supervision.

Mr. Simmons (Kristofer McNeeley)
Mr. Simmons was a young lawyer trying to make his mark in the newly re-established LA office of Wolfram
& Hart. When he learned that the host of the Powers That Be's visions,
Lauren Sheppard, was in a psychiatric hospital he hired the Shadow Walker
ninja clan to kidnap her and bring her to him. Mr. Simmons was not aware that W & H were already
aware of Lauren's presence and had her under observation. When Simmons' actions led to Lauren's escape
and brought her into contact with the Powers That Be's new champion, the Senior Partners dispatched
their messenger, The Count, to deal with him. As a result of his mistake Mr. Simmons is no longer a part
of Wolfram & Hart, having been dismissed (and apparently killed) by the Count.

The Oracle (Miguel A. Nunez Jr.)
The Oracle is a fortune teller operating out of a small apartment in the east end of Los Angeles. The locals
come to him for advice, and people in occult circles acknowledge that he has genuine prescient powers. The
truth is that while the man called The Oracle is a moderately gifted magician, the real power comes from
his secret partner, the empathic demon (and former champion/lounge act) Lorne. The group have come to The
Oracle for advice on several occasions and are unaware of the real source of his abilities. Recently
the Oracle signed on as Jalen's agent when the former assassin started
working as a Hollywood stuntman.

The Count (James Morrison)
The Count appears to be a high ranking operative of Wolfram & Hart, serving the Senior Partners directly.
He was dispatched to the Los Angeles office to deal with the mess made by Mr. Simmons, and was
responsible for punishing the young lawyer. It is not known if The Count is human or not, but his archaic
mode of speech and dress, and the means by which he punished Mr. Simmons, indicate that there is something
supernatural about him. When the demon Spring-Heeled Jack came to LA, it was revealed that he and the Count
had met each other before, in nineteenth century England, indicating the Count is far older than he appears.

Rev. Desmond Morris (Delroy Lindo)
The Reverend Desmond Morris runs a church in a Los Angeles slum. He first encountered the group when he
helped them against a demonic creature called a Dybbuk. The group later came to the Reverend's rescue when
he was targeted by a gang of undead teenagers.

Louis Garmond (Ron Glass)
Louis Garmond is a derelict living in the slums of Los Angeles. He witnessed an attack by a demonic
Dybbuk, mistaking the creature for a vampire. Louis later helped lead the group to the creature's lair.

Andrew Cross (Nicholas Lea)
Andrew Cross was Patrick Bright's best friend and partner in the LAPD.
Cross blamed Patrick when an Internal Affairs investigation led to his dismissal from the force. Cross
later went to work for Leland Richter at Kronos Industries. He was in charge of security for the operation
that attempted to summon the demon Azathoth and was accidentally pulled into the demon's home dimension
when the group thwarted the summoning.

Lucy Smythe (Chyler Leigh)
Lucy Smythe was a sophomore at UCLA who thought she was a normal girl until a group of demons tried to
kill her. Lucy then learned that she was actually a princess and heir to the throne of another dimension.
With the group's help Lucy awakened to her latent mystic abilities and has gone to the demon dimension to
claim her throne and end a centuries-long civil war.

Leland Richter (Ronny Cox)
Leland Richter is the President and CEO of Kronos Industries. The group has twice thwarted his attempts to
summon the demon Azathoth, which was apparently part of a larger scheme involving a powerful demonic
entity called The Devourer. Richter has contracted Wolfram & Hart to help him deal with the group's
interference.

Dr. Mark Spencer (Jeffrey Combs)
Mark Spencer was a psychiatrist working in the Los Angeles area during the 1960s (and possibly later). Dr.
Spencer died under as yet unrevealed circumstances but his spirit stayed around. His ghost has
appointed itself as Ethan's therapist. The phantom doctor can often be
found conducting therapy sessions with Ethan at the Blue Plate Diner. Of course, since Ethan is the only
one who can see or hear the doctor it looks to other people like he is talking to himself.

Emma Sheppard (Jennifer Sky)
Emma Sheppard is Lauren's younger sister. Emma came to see her older sister
when she learned that Lauren was back in Los Angeles. Emma's visit was prompted because she was afraid her
friends would see Lauren, who was now living a much lower class of lifestyle than she used to, and it
would reflect badly on Emma's own social status.

Lorne (Andy Hallett)
Lorne is an empath demon from the dimension of Pylea. He used to operate a demon karaoke bar in LA and
was an ally of the previous champion, Angel. Since the last big battle between Angel and the forces of
evil, Lorne has been keeping a low profile. He makes a living using his psychic abilities as a fortune
teller, remaining behind the scenes and using The Oracle as his front man. Lorne has taken an interest
in the group and tries to help them in their cause as much as possible without revealing himself. It was
Lorne who used his showbiz contacts to set the Oracle up as Jalen's agent.
Lorne's prophetic abilities made him an excellent candidate for one of The Five, a group of demons needed
by Kronos Industries to summon the Devourer.

Richard Warren (Don Franklin)
Richard Warren is a lawyer working for Wolfram & Hart. When Leland Richter hired the law firm to deal
with the group, Wolfram & Hart began seeking ways to attack them indirectly. To attack
Patrick, they contacted his estranged wife Sarah and at their urging
she started divorce proceedings. W & H assigned Richard Warren as her lawyer.

Shadow Master (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa)
The Shadow Master is the mysterious leader of the Shadow Walker ninja clan. He led the assault on the
Cambodian village where the infant Jalen was taken. Years later, it was the
Shadow Master who ordered Jalen and his sensei to battle each other in ritual combat as a means of
punishing both of them for their defiance of his will. The Shadow Master himself selected Jalen for the
mission to Los Angeles where the young warrior finally rejected the clan. For some reason the Shadow
Master has not yet ordered Jalen's death for this act of treason and continues to try and persuade his
wayward assassin to return to the Shadow Walker clan.

Master Tan (George Takei)
Master Tan was Jalen's sensei at the Shadow Walker temple in Cambodia. He
trained Jalen in the art of ninjitsu, but also taught the young warrior philosophies, some of which were
not approved by the Shadow Walker clan. Master Tan was killed by Jalen in ritual combat in an elaborate
punishment arranged by the head of the clan, though Jalen did not realize his masked opponent was his
beloved sensei until after the killing blow had been dealt. Master Tan had his revenge at the end however,
as the seeds of independence he planted in Jalen led the young warrior to eventually reject the Shadow
Walker clan.

Travis McCauley (Michael Weatherly)
Travis McCauley is a lawyer working for Wolfram & Hart. He had previously been assigned to oversee
Dr. Abrams' work with Lauren, but after Leland Richter hired W & H to
deal with the group his responsibilities have increased. McCauley was the lawyer that tried to get
Jalen fired from his new job (and possibly arrested and deported) over
immigration issues and he is also in overall charge of the legal team working on
Patrick's divorce. McCauley also hired demon thugs to kidnap
Ethan and take him to the Maylum Asylum and helped Brendan Hughes in his
quest for his ancestor's sword. Travis earned his law degree from Yale.

Anne Steele (Julia Lee)
Anne Steele runs a teen homeless shelter in Los Angeles. The shelter recently moved to a new building, which
turned out to be haunted. Ethan and Dana were able
to discover the reason for the haunting, but as a result Anne has had to set up the shelter in another location.
When the group was searching for the missing Ethan they asked Anne if she had seen him.

Holland Manners (Sam Anderson)
Holland Manners was the Vice President of Special Projects for Wolfram & Hart in Los Angeles. He is
currently deceased. Manners was the person who convinced Lauren's parents
to entrust her to Dr. Abrams' care after she injured a fellow student in high school with her powers.

Gordon Campbell (Tony Denham)
Gordon Campbell is a computer student at UCLA and lives in the same apartment building as
Dana. He is also secretly a Cyttorath demon. His natural, though limited,
precognitive abilities told him that Dana was in some danger and he tried to secretly warn her. When
Brendan Hughes arrived in Los Angeles and sought out Dana, Gordon believed he was the source of the
threat to her. Despite his demonic abilities, Gordon was badly injured by Brendan, who turned out to
be a powerful werewolf. It was later discovered that Gordon was one of The Five, a prophesied set of
five demons who would be required to summon the Devourer.

Sarah Bright (Judy Greer)
Sarah is the estranged wife of Patrick Bright. When Patrick became the champion of
the Powers That Be he did not tell Sarah what had happened. His increasingly eccentric behavior led Sarah to
leave Patrick, taking their infant daughter with her. In an effort to strike at Patrick, lawyers from
Wolfram & Hart have convinced Sarah to begin divorce proceedings.

Frank Brigham (Desmond Harrington)
Frank Brigham is an LAPD officer. He was Patrick's partner after Andrew
Cross left. Frank was with him the night Patrick became the new champion of the Powers That Be and he
knows that something happened, though not what exactly. Frank remains on good terms with Patrick and has
been known to feed him information on odd criminal investigations.

Julie Tran (Linda Park)
Julie Tran was an architect and was Ethan's fiance. She died in the same car
accident that gave Ethan his second sight. Ethan's first use of his powers let him speak to Julie's
ghost for several hours before he realized she was actually dead. Her spirit eventually went to its final
resting place.

Walter Blake (Brad Dourif)
In the 1890s Walter Blake was misdiagnosed as mentally ill and committed to the Maylum Asylum near Los Angeles.
The brutal "treatments" at the asylum eventually drove Walter insane for real and he died while still
incarcerated there. After his death, Walter's ghost began to haunt the asylum, becoming a powerful poltergeist.
The asylum was abandoned in the 1960s but Walter continued to haunt the grounds. Anyone who entered the abandoned
building was usually captured by Walter, who would begin "treating" them with the same brutal methods
he had been subjected to in life. The victims would eventually be released, but not before being driven insane.
Wolfram & Hart kidnapped Ethan and took him to the abandoned asylum, where Walter began
torturing him, but he was found and rescued by his friends after a couple of days. Walter still haunts the
asylum, waiting for his next "patient".

Daniel 'Oz' Osbourne (Seth Green)
Oz is a former resident of Sunnydale and ally of the Slayer, Buffy Summers. Oz is also a werewolf and his
search for a cure led him to Los Angeles looking for the same sword that Brendan Hughes was searching for.
Oz convinced Dana that Brendan was evil and to help him find the sword first.
Oz helped the group battle Brendan and later took the sword with him to Tibet, where he hopes some
mystics he knows there can help him use the sword to find a cure.

Brendan Hughes (Clive Robertson)
Little is known about Brendan Hughes other than that he is Irish, and is a werewolf. Brendan claims to be
descended from a French nobleman who was cursed to become a werewolf and that the curse has been passed
down through the generations to himself. He came to Los Angeles looking for his ancestor's sword, which
was said to be the key to lifting the curse. At first Brendan went to Dana
for help tracking down the sword, but when she began helping Oz find the sword instead he turned to
Wolfram & Hart. Brendan located the sword, but so did the group. In the ensuing battle
Jalen used the sword to cut off Brendan's right hand. Brendan fled the scene and
his current location is unknown.

Spring-Heeled Jack (Michael Sheen)
The demon called Spring-Heeled Jack's first documented appearance was in 1837, in London.
He continued to appear with varying frequency over the next few years, usually attacking women.
At some point during the Nineteenth Century, Jack met the Count but the exact circumstances of
their encounter are unknown. Jack resurfaced in Los Angeles, where he was eventually killed by
Patrick. Exactly what species of demon Jack was is unknown.

Tina was on her way to a job interview when she witnessed a car accident that was
also witness by Ethan. She helped him treat the accident
victims and the two seemed to hit it off. They have since started dating.

Brian is an investment banker working for a major banking firm in Los Angeles. Spotting
the attractive Brian on the street, Lauren
overheard him arguing with his assistant over the phone and charmed her way
into a job interview with him. He has since hired her on at his firm.

Cerne the Hunter (Tony Todd)
Cerne is mercenary assassin hired by Leland Richter to kill Jalen.
Cerne is skilled in the use of a variety of ancient and modern weapons and possesses superhuman strength as
well as a form of invisiblity, though it is not known if this last ability is natural or technology based.

Dave the Comic Book Demon (Jorge Garcia)
Dave (his real name is unpronounceable) is a blue-skinned demon that runs the Planet-X
Comics store in Los Angeles. Dave is a big fan of comics, sci-fi, and computer games and is
quite knowledgeable on those subjects. Dave is also an expert on demon mythology. The group
went to him for help with the Devourer prophecies. Ironically, Dave himself became part of the
prophecy when he was kidnapped by Kronos Industries to be one of the demons whose sacrifice was
needed to summon the Devourer.

Dr. Maalik (Julian Richings)
Maalik is the Dr. Frankenstein of the demon world. Working for Kronos Industries, Maalik specializes in
creating animated hybrid zombie demon creatures from body parts of deceased demons. He is also known to
dabble with human body parts as well. Maalik himself is a half demon and has surgically augmented
himself using his own techniques, augmentations that include an extra set of arms.
